  Thank YOU!

  Chapter 1: Myla

  Leaving is easy…

All you have to do is put one foot in front of the other. Not think about it.

“Two more blocks, then you’re there,” I reminded myself.

Yes, just had to pass Argyle and Arlington, take a right, and then the bus terminal would be on my right too. After that would come the ticket, then the seat, then the bus.

  And then I’d be free.

My breath caught as I checked my phone again– he couldn’t suspect yet, could he?

  No calls, no texts– yet.

I re-centered my gaze on the sidewalk ahead. Losing my focus in the middle of the night on Bank Street wasn’t something I couldn’t afford. Not with the shadowy storefronts I was passing: some empty, others holding a cough, a stench, a slump of a person, or worse. The dead streetlights on the roadside didn’t help.

  Kaaarunch!

I jolted back, gaping at the Coke can I’d stepped on.

  Kaaarunch, just like it must’ve…

  No. Not thinking of it.

As I ventured ahead, something else loomed into view – someone else: a tall, hollow-chested junkie with a drug-fried stare.

I crossed the street to avoid him, keeping my eye on him too so he didn’t follow me.

One step on the new sidewalk, and everything happened in half a heartbeat:

–Four figures emerging from the dark.

–A black-clothed redhead saying, “Nice try”

–A fat terror-faced man fleeing straight for me.

  –A clumsy punch.

  –A flruchk impact.

And then, finally, all black fizzzzzz….

  Chapter 2: Angel

Of all the girls to hit….

My gaze took stock of the slumped form on my couch.

Wide cheekbones, strong chin, a swell of lip. A black eye that looked like a mistake. And the way her lips were already half pursed… almost like I could…

  I twisted away.

  Forget it.

Whoever this early-20s woman was, I had to deal with her and be done with it. If I was lucky she wouldn’t remember anything. If we were lucky.

Her black eye flickered, as though considering opening, then finally did, the other following suit. Two indigo almonds surveyed me coolly. The only signs of tension were the rigid yet elegant hunch of her tan shoulders against the black leather couch behind.

  “Uh?” she murmured.

“My friend accidentally hit you.” I indicated Red, who was eyeing her too long, like a hungry dog.

  Idiot.

She surveyed me, then him for another few seconds, before scrambling to her feet. “Where am I?”

“My place,” I said. Suspicion was working its way onto her face already. Not that I blamed her. But what was I supposed to do – drag an unconscious girl into McDonalds and leave her with a Happy Meal and a ‘have a good night’? “It was an accident.”

She inched towards the door, scrutinizing us in that unsettling way, as though we were a pair of undercover Charles Mansons.

Kohl was coming out of the kitchen, his bald head wearing his Bad Cop face. “What do you remember?”

Even though he and Red had dealt with the guy on the street fast enough, the bastard still wasn’t happy. Typical.

“I don’t know,” she said. “Why?”

“You can go.” He glanced at the door. But then his gaze caught on her, held. “What do you remember?”

Her gaze flicked to Red. “Your friend was punching some guy.”

Red smirked with the side of his mouth as if she’d just made a pass at him.

  Dick.

This girl wasn’t his to have.

“Ok,” Kohl said. Kohl’s gaze rested on her.

  Chapter 3: Myla

  How in the hell?

As the muscle-ridden God of a bald man eyed me evenly, goosebumps crawled up my arms.

Here I was, in the weirdest and most likely most dangerous situation of my life, with three hot muscled guys in the same room as me, and all I felt was a pointless heat between my legs.

The one that had woken me up had white-blonde hair, eyes like blue jewels and an ironic face. The red-haired one looked more ruthless, with a strong chin and hungry pouty lips. The tan bald one with the high cheekbones and hard dark glints for eyes looked the most lethal, though.

And yet… wasn’t the way they were looking at me the most dangerous of all? As though right here, right now, they could come at me, take me…

Never mind that we’d just met minutes before. Never mind that there were three of them and one of me. In that look of theirs, in the very crackling in the air, I felt it.

  They wanted me. Bad.

I swallowed, finally found my voice, “Ok.”

I tried to get my legs to move me closer to the door, but they wouldn’t budge.

Only my impertinent words slipped out before I could stop them: “Why’d you take me here?”

It seemed horrendous, the idea of these three guys ganging up on me, taking what they wanted from me. Horrendous and, worse still… tempting.

One look at them and I could tell it wouldn’t be soft or easy.

It would be hard, hot and pitiless.

The blonde one finally answered, “To make sure you were okay. We couldn’t just leave you.”

The bald one’s lips twisted as he stalked out the door. I took a few paces after him, until I was on the threshold between leaving and staying. I took a look back

The redhead’s eyebrow quirked as he surveyed me. “What’s your name?”

“Myla.” I clasped the doorknob’s coolness tightly in a feeble attempt to break myself out of this turned-on haze. “But I should get going.”

If the redhead noticed my discomfort, he didn’t show it, only gestured to himself and the blonde, stares still glued to me. “I’m Red and this is Angel. You don’t have to leave right away – not if you don’t want to.”

His eyes moved all over me, spoke for him – You won’t regret staying, that I can promise you. The blonde was looking at me the same way too, inhaling my every curve in a way that was as intimate as touch.

  A shiver went through me.

“I-” My voice was caught in my throat.

One freckled hand went to my one shoulder, another pale one went to the other shoulder.

Alarm bells went off in my head.

&n
bsp; Fuck, what the hell was going on with me?

“She may be tired.” Angel tilted his head, but when I didn’t respond, added, “You can rest here some more, if you’d like.”

“Tired.” The redhead smirked as he said it, like this was all some silly test, like he could see the wet pooling in my lace panties.

I swallowed, said, “Yeah.” The only thing I could think to.

His hazel eyes hardened. “Very well.”

He opened the door, looked to me, quirked a brow. Your play.

Shit, all he’d have to do was take my chin in his hands and bring down his lips and…

Taking my phone out of my pocket, he pressed a few times, typed something out. And then, handing me my phone, he left.

My gaze transferred to my phone. The text read – When you’re ready… 525 Clair Hills Boulevard.

My teeth dug together. Just who did this guy think he was?

Between my legs throbbed. A man who knew what he wanted – and who.

And then there was one. Two, really, me and Angel, his gaze still on me, tugging at me.

My head swam. What the hell was I supposed to do now? I wasn’t ‘tired’ at all. I’d been wide awake as soon as I’d seen the three hot men I was alone in a room with. And Angel, just the thought of him touching me again…

I exhaled. I had to do the smart thing. The reasonable thing. It was the only way. My life was already messed up, making it more complicated was not a good idea. Besides, I had a bus to catch…

But what was complicated about giving into pure desire – just this once?

“Hey.” Angel’s breath was hot on the back of my neck. “There’s a couch, if you want, I could-”

  I whirled around.

I looked desire straight in the face – and I turned on my heel and left.

  Chapter 4: Angel

The floor resounded with the slap of her sneakers leaving… then returning.

The door creaked back open, and her dark wavy-haired head poked in. “Thanks, by the way. For not just leaving me there. Who knows what would’ve happened.”

I nodded. “Nothing we’d want to talk about.”

I swallowed. Fuck if this erection of mine wasn’t uncomfortable. And now, with her back, it had swelled up full force again.

What the hell had that joker Red been thinking? And me, about to go along with it – the both of us with some girl we’d just met?

I’d never done anything like that before. Wasn’t sure I wanted to. All I knew was that being this close to her made me lose my head and hard.

  What the fuck.

“Mind if I come out?” I found myself asking.

Her smile was unsure still. But when I came out in the better hallway light, I saw it was because fear was mixed in the cocktail of excitement in her green eyes.

“There.” I closed the apartment door behind us. “That’s better.”

“I really should get going.” She bit her lower lip. “I still have to get bus tickets for tomorrow.”

  “That’s where you were heading?”

She nodded. “I’m going to Vancouver.”

Her tone was final, contradicted any questions in advance. Fair enough. As long as she didn’t ask questions about what Kohl, Red and I were doing beating up some fat guy in the middle of the night.

“Time for a new start,” she was saying now.

“Getting to Vancouver from here will take you a week, though.”

She tipped her head to the side, causing a wave to fall loose, waggle mockingly at me. Fuck. I wanted her. “Half a week.”

“Still a long way. That many days straight on the bus….”

She attempted a cheerful smile. “I’ve got a few seasons of Breaking Bad on my phone.”

Under my incredulous head tilt, it faltered even further. “The bus is all I can afford. This trip wasn’t expected, it….”

She trailed off. Another question not to ask.

She pivoted a little to the left, the way the elevators were. “I should get going.”

  So she kept saying.

Our gazes caught. A staring contest, daring the other to act first. A battle of wills, where the winner would take all.

Too bad for her that by then I’d had enough. I pulled her to me.

  Chapter 5: Myla

  Oh fuck.

A rush of lips. Mouth sealed to mouth for a nanosecond, before pure impulse and hunger took over.

Our lips twisted together. Our tongues tangled. The kiss wasn’t just with our mouths, though, it was with our entire bodies, pressing to each other, feeling each other, crumbling into each other.

  Yes.

Someone’s fumbling hands undid the buttons on his shirt, and my hands went where his shirt had been.

Oh yes. Angel was built like a Greek god, his chest a gridwork of grooves and indents that rippled under my fingertips.

As if I needed any more proof of his strength, in one swift motion, he lifted me up and carried me to the wall. There, with my legs wrapped around him, he pressed me into the hardness of the wall, and… I felt something else hard. Through his jeans, the bulk of his thick hard-on was unmistakable.

Pleasure arced into my pussy, followed closely by the last tendrils of self-control I still had. Shit, this was going fast. Too fast for me to breathe, hardly.

His hands settled on my breasts and squeezed. I arced my pelvis into him, letting out a little groan.

He kissed me roughly. “That’s my girl.”

Yes. Fast and hard and rough. That was what I needed right now. Get this done fast- too fast. Get this out of my system.

All of me ached for more.

One of his hands cupped my face, while the other pressed me to the wall by my collarbone.

He surveyed me approvingly. “That’s how I like you.” And then his lips skimmed my jaw line and fell onto my throat.

My knees wobbled, as a groan rolled out of me. Fuck did this guy know what he was doing. With the flat of my palm, I steadied myself onto his chest as my eyes fluttered open again.

His own open greedy eyes said it all: him + me = now.

Our bodies crashed together as we ripped each other’s clothes off. Jeans, belt, bra, boxers, all landed in a haphazard heap on the ground.

And then we were clasping at each other’s nakedness, and Angel grabbed my leg and wrapped it around him, and then… he entered me.

  Oh fuck.

  Oh fuck yes.

That first entrance was divine. Slow and gradual, almost taunting. My pussy spasmed for more.

“Fuck…” he groaned, his cock twitching. “So… fucking tight.”

“So fucking huge,” I groaned right back.

He was. He filled me fully and utterly, leaving no room for anything else. Not even thought.

I sagged onto him, as his cock pierced me deeper. He hadn’t even thrust again. Part of me wondered if I could even take it when he finally did.

But then he was sliding out and shoving himself back in. Pleasure burst out in all directions inside me.

  It was… he was…

“Yes,” was all I could say, “Yes, yes, yes.”

“That’s it.” Angel pounded me harder as I sagged onto him. “What’s that you want?”

He’d stopped with a taunting half-smile. I glared at him, my mouth twisted with the word I had no choice but to say, “More.”

  “Oh?”

It burned me to say it, but what burned more was my screaming pussy. “Please.”

That did it. Angel plowed me fast and hard and deep and perfect. Every new thrust forced more harried cries from my throat, more shaking of my entire body.

By now, we were on the floor, completely overcome with it. My lips, hands, pussy clutched him desperately, fucking him back as he fucked me. As my spasms grew and joined, until it was one great spasm rocking me towards… coming.

Angel’s eyes flashed with self-satisfaction, although he didn’t stop his onward-pulsing cock in the slightest.

I’m not finished with you,” his warm breath hissed into my ear.

And that was when he started fucking me the hardest and fastest yet. His massive erection was a merciless jackhammer, pounding me to perfection. Animalistic sounds clamored out of my throat, I came once and again as I felt him spill in me, pulsing over and over and over again.

  Chapter 6: Angel

  I was pussydrunk.

All of me clasped onto her, my cock aching for more.

Jesus – since when had sex been like… that? I couldn’t remember the last time. Or ever.

Myla was something, that was for sure. About to fall asleep too, the way her long lashes were closed.

Hold up – I jerked half upright, furtively scanning the couch – had we really fucked… without…?

  “IUD,” Myla murmured.

“It’s an IOU,” I said, “But yeah, if you want to owe me, I have an idea of what you could do for me…”

She just giggled, shook her head.

Oh.. IUD, right. Those little metal things women had up there to stop pregnancy. Myla was five steps ahead of me.

Still, it had been a fucking idiot move of me – just losing my head like that and banging some girl rawdog. That was the thing, though – I had just lost my head.

I was losing it now, with her soft warmth in my arms. My cock swelled.

  But she was asleep.

  Hm. Maybe later.

A text roused me. Although I didn’t look at it right away, grabbed a half-finished bag of Doritos first.

I plopped on an armchair nearby, munching away. Trying – and failing – not to look at her.

There was something off and I only realized once it was when I grabbed the cashmere blanket that had fallen to the ground and spread it over her.

  There. That was better.

Sitting on the end of the couch, I finally looked at that text. It was Kohl: deal with it okay?

I glanced at her, shrugged, texted him back: I’d say so.

I turned off my phone, took out a plate and some cutlery for her tomorrow just in case, and left to go sling myself in bed.

As head hit pillow, I considered going over there, picking her up and moving her in here with me. Don’t be an idiot.
